Geocache Description:

Obvious disclaimer: I would not recommend this as the first cache for a new geocacher. You are looking for an ammo can. With that said:

According to my lunar calculations, this cache location here, is the Boogie Capitol of the USA!
I was originally going to make this the 1,000,000th cache posted, but i missed that date by over a year! So, I had to come up with something that would make this cache memorable.

To make this one special, I felt the need to do one that would truly be worthy. I focused my efforts on the readings of Kleetus, Clan Rifster, M'Lord and M'Lady, War1man, Kindbus, Flatouts and Imtomcat. You all know how to write up a great log when you find a worthy cache. So, I created this one for you all. It should not be that hard to find. It's a 5 gallon bucket (NOW IT IS AN AMMO CAN) for crying out loud, which is what you may be doing after working your way to this one.

With all the new geocachers that are signing up on this site, me included, the overall difficulty level and terrain level is changing from woods hunts to more of the urban type. Also, with the "development" of the wooded areas, we are being forced to find those wooded areas anywhere we can. Which brings me here. Smack dab in the middle of an urban area is this undistrubed wooded area. The reason it is undisturbed is because it is a wetland type area more favorable to being designated as an open space than for building houses. So, here we go.

I had to really work on hidding this one. In the past, I have had an easy way in to my caches (mainly so it is easy for me to maintain). You all have figured that out. So this time, what you see is what you get. No heilo pad, no teleportation, just plain old bushwhacking in and bushwhacking out, depending on the season that is. If it rainy, the "path" to the cache is WET. If we are in a bit of a drout, the path is WET

The parking is at the shopping center. The walk to the cache starts as a terrain of 1.0 and goes downhill from there. Once you get to where you are going to begin the buschwhacking, you will be about 200 feet away. Watch that first step. It is a beauty!

There is no turning back on this one, Kleetus. There is only one way in and one way out, and your not going to like it! Hopefully you will at least like the smiley you get for a tough terrain cache and the large container you find!

To intice the go getters out there, I am offering a new, unregistered geocoin for the FTF (prize has been claimed). It isn't quite the quality of GC that Flatout owns, but then again, his are totaly awesome. Anyway, good luck on the FTF.

I have really stuffed this container with some swag for you all to rifle through, including a coveted UCF foam football (black and gold) and a couple of smaller blue Brighthouse Football Stadium footballs. Just about everything in the cache is in a ziploc bag to help keep the moisture out. Even the ammo can has a rubber o-ring to help with the moisture.
Happy hunting.

I love this outdoor adventure.

AND A SUPER KUDOS TO RELIANTTHRONE FOR MAKING THIS THEIR FIRST CACHE. YOU ARE BETTER THAN I AM!!
