HaLiJuSaPa: I haven't really thought of a good hiding place to move it to as this would be the 3rd or 4th replacement in a little over 3 months, so I'm going to let it go. A shame, since it's a really nice park with a really great view of the Sound! Maybe someone else will have a better idea, thanks for finding it.

Geocache Description:

Cache is in Hudson Park in New Rochelle. Though the view at the cache is much like those at Hudson River parks, this view is of the Long Island Sound. Cache is a small plastic container. There are 2 "state quarters" for the FTF.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN!

Parking is available at the park, though it is for New Rochelle city residents with a permit, it is sometimes enforced so to be sure, park on a nearby side street and take a longer walk in, the park and view are worth it!

Sometimes there are many muggles at the cache location, sometimes you are all alone, so be careful. Lots of great fishing at the "base" of the park, however you need a relatively inexpensive permit that non-residents can get as well.

I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do! We have other hides in nearby scenic New Rochelle parks as well for you to try
