Geocache Description:

Childproof Lock-top container, about twice as long as a film canister, wedged but in plain sight when you're nearby. Bring a pen.

This little micro contains for FTF these mini-trinkets: Fly, Tennis Racket, Bluecoat with a muzzleloader, Aleut with a fish (prolly a salmon althou it doesn't look like a salmon to me.)

In 1828 there was created Lovely County, Arkansas Territory (I think) carved from a parcel which was originally included in Indian Territory. With tongue in cheek, we think we have found Lovely County near this cache, because you can park your car on unwelcome land-- between the Welcome To Oklahoma and Welcome to Arkansas signs. From there, take the, um, scenic bar ditch to your destination.

This is a Park and Sniff cache. Folks in this area will tell you that it "smells like money" there.

We chose this spot while touring the National Park Service Trail of Tears commemorative route. It documents the Cherokee Removal, and this is the first waypoint in Indian Territory. How happy our ancestors must have been to finally breathe the air of the new Cherokee homeland, having lost 1 in 4 of the masses making that exodus in 1838-1839.
