WTF is a TLA (Three Letter Acronym) for World Trade Federation, Where’s The Fish, and a plethora of other things. Used in text messaging, WTF saves the sender the trouble of typing a vulgar phrase.


WTF is used to show anger, surprise, shock, amazement, and a host of other emotions. It’s a shame that our society has come to this rather than using other choices to express our emotions.


When would someone use this phrase? Maybe if someone came across the scene below that person might use it.
