Geocache Description:

The Melfort Water Tower was purchased from the Prince Albert Penitentiary in 1927 and moved to its location a year later. The tower was in use until 1970. In 1991 a committee was formed to by local citizens to raise funds to preserve it as a historical site. This is also a spot that the local Community in Bloom committee has beautified.
