Ammo box bungied to a tree at chest height to the west side of the lot cleared for the wind turbine (which is number C27). Lots of good swag to start with- some of it donated by Suez. While your here have a look off to the south at Carlton Provincial Park - totally awesome scenery. Accuracy was 1 meter when placed, and there are maps and directions on signs in the area
The wind farm is owned by Suez Energy North America Inc. The electrical energy derived from this project will be enough to provide a clean, renewable and local source of electricity to more than 19,000 homes.
The towers are 105 m high and the blades are 80 m in length.
The wind farm is on leased land (the lease is for 20 years) and covers a 35-hectare, highland-terrain site on which the company has build 33 turbines, each capable of producing three megawatts of electrical power that will feed into the NB Power transmission grid.
Vestas Energy is supplying turbine parts for the Caribou Mountain project.
The wind farm will be New Brunswick's largest, with 33 turbines producing 99 megawatts of energy under a 20-year agreement with NB Power.
