Shafted Traditional Cache

This cache requires a slight hill climb. Terrain is fairly easy to navigate for the novice hiker.
The location is accessible either by a switchback trail or a short uphill hike, the trail being the easiest way to access the cache (difficulty 2.5 as the trail is rocky and uphill). Either way the general cache location will be quite obvious as you approach.
I would be interested to hear if anyone has any information on his cache site. After a small amount of research on the internet I wasn't able to determine the origins of the structure at the site. As always, please use caution while searching for the cache. The cache is placed in an area that requires no climbing on the structure and is easily accessible from the ground.
Please bring your own writing utensil for the log, and place it back exactly as you found it.
