Dieser Cache liegt in der Kernzone des NP Hohe Tauern auf ca. 2450m Höhe. Erreichbar ist er über einen Rundweg.
Ausgangspunkt ist entweder der Parkplatz (ca. 1850m) bei der Winklerner Hütte (1905m) von Kärntner Seite aus, oder der Parkplatz vor, bzw. bei der Roaner Alm (ca. 1903m) von der Osttiroler Seite aus.
Der Rundweg führt über den Strasskopf (2401m) und sollte in drei bis fünf Stunden machbar sein.
Der Cache lässt sich auch super mit den Caches (GCQ5R7 dann eine Stunde länger) und (GC1MPXV) kombinieren.

This cache is situated in the heart of the Nationalpark Hohe Tauern at an altitude of approximately 2450 m above sea level. You can reach it on a loop road.
There are two possible starting points for this cache: - you either start at the parking area (approx. 1850 m) at the “Winklerner Hütte” (1905 m) which lies on Carinthian territory or - you start at the parking area of “Roaner Alm (approx. 1903 m) which is on East Tyrolean territory.
The loop road leads across “Straßkopf” (2401 m) and you should manage the round course within 3 - 5 hours. You could also combine this cache with the caches (GCQ5R7 - it will take you one more hour) and (GC1MPXV).
