The initial coordinates take you to a parking area adjacent to a playground where you will find the answers you need to locate the cache. The cache is a 200ml camo painted sistema container containing a logbook, pencil, and the usual goodies.
The cache can be found at S40 36.ABC, E175 15.DEF. There are two distinct playgrounds here, each playground contains the answers for one set of coordinates.
The southing coordinates can be found by answering questions at the wooden playground.
A = (The number of seated swings) + 1.
B = The number of slides.
C = (The number of chain bridges) - 1.
The easting coordinates can be found by answering questions at the plastic playground.
D = (The total number of holes on both sides of the yellow tube) - 1.
E = (The number of planks on the wooden bridge) - 4.
F = (The total number of holes in the rock climbing wall.
Checksum for all questions = 30. Note that I have updated the questions as people were having trouble with one of them. The cache can be found a couple of hundred metres away in a cacher obvious location.
There are a large number of birds over by the lake as well that we came across including:
- Pukekos
- Ducks
- Geese
- A rooster
- Seagulls
Unfortunately the birds left quite an unpleasant smell from their droppings, so if you wish to feed the birds, bring a peg for your nose too...
