TORRE D’EN PENJAT, CALA SANT ESTEVE.
ESPAÑOL
Se accede en vehículo a un amplio parking, en la cala Sant Esteve, donde podéis disfrutar de la primera vista del lugar. El paseo a pie puede durar una hora, ida y vuelta (2,5km). El camino es fácil, pero algo adrupto en algún punto, por lo que no lo recomiendo para gente con movilidad limitada, carritos de bebés o niños muy pequeños.
Maravillosas vistas sobre la bocana del puerto de Mahón y sobre la misma Cala Sant Esteve.
El caché contiene: logbook, un bolígrafo, dos muñecos para la nevera, un pequeño tablero de ajedrez y un perfume de Menorca.
Para el primer Geocatcher, dos entradas para visitar el fuerte de Malrlborough, que se encuentra en la misma Cala Sant Esteve.

Para salir del parking, deberéis cruzar la carretera por un paso de peatones. Debéis bajar por la antigua calzada romana. En ella encontrareis unos postes que señalizan el “Camí de Cavalls” -camino de caballos-. Son unos postes de madera cuadrangulares de unos 50-70cm de altura. Llevan impresa una pequeña herradura en su parte superior.
Mientras bajáis contad los postes que encontráis hasta llegar a un panel informativo del lugar. Deberéis haber encorado un número de postes, este será el primer valor. A=.......

Para regresar, os recomiendo seguir los pequeños senderos que hay por el litoral, hacia el noreste, que os llevarán sin pérdida hasta el punto de partida. Os dejo los siguientes waypoints para un retorno seguro, aunque seguro que no os harán falta.

There’s a big parking area in the Cala (Cove) where one can appreciate the landscape. The walk , 2.5km, can take about an hour, going and coming back. The walk is easy but sometimes the path is abrupt so it is not recommended for people with difficulty walking, baby carriages or small children.
The cache contains: a logbook, pen, two fridge magnets, a small chess board and perfume from Menorca.
For the first Geocatcher, two tickets to visit the Marlborough Fort which is located in the same Cala San Esteve.

Leaving the parking area you must cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. You must go down the old Roman road. There you will find some poles with signs “Cami de Cavalls” - horse path - . These are rectangular wooden signs about 50-70cm high. On the top is an impression of a horseshoe.
While going down count the poles until you arrive at a sign with information of the place. You will have found a number of poles, this will be the 1st value. A= …….

The recommended return is to follow the little paths that exist on the coastline towards the northeast, that will take you to the starting point. The following are waypoints for a safe return athough they may not be needed.
