This is a great one for a small child or anyone else needing easy terrain, located at the Old Depot in Mount Vernon, Texas, near the Blacklands Railroad. The altitude is about 480 feet. Hint: Stoop down to look up. Then take a tour of the Depot and the grounds, as well as the Old Fire Station Museum across the street, open 10 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday.
Container is a rubbermaid-type container, plainly labeled as to what its for. The cache is a coffee mug with a local cliche on it. There will be other items - take one of each sort. You might even find a gift certificate. Please sign our book and leave us a message about yourself.
P.S. Our cache box was stolen recently; but we have replaced it and hope for new visitors. Welcome to Franklin County! We will be monitoring! Let's go goecaching!
