Geocache Description:

Bats Are Taking To The County Beltways!

The cache is a tiny micro, but not a nano, and can only hold a log. The drive is easy, parking is easy, and no muggles should be anywhere close. This should be handicap accessible, but it may be a long reach.
You should be able to get the log out without disturbing the position of the hide. Please try to keep it in position.

BYOP!

This is the seventh in a series of caches that will take you to interesting places along Allegheny County's Belt System.
The belts are routes that use existing roads, and are colored by the rainbow, Red being the outermost and Purple being the innermost.

These routes predate the interstate system by years, and are still useful today. I have always told my girls that if they get lost in the county, the belts will always take them to somewhere they know, even if it takes awhile... See the website link for details on the Belt System.

This, the seventh cache of the Belt System series, will take you to the "Steel Valley" in Duquesne/West Mifflin. Close by you will see Phantoms, Rabbits and Bolts of Thunder! You should not need your Nuvi or Tom-Tom to get you close - just follow the big yellow arrows that are all over the area. You will get a great view of a very fun place while you look for this cache!
This is next to a public shopping center parking lot, so technically it should be a "Park & Grab". Hopefully it will not be so quick - It is not your usual parking lot hide! You should be able to look around without a lot of muggle interference, especially if you can get your car in the right place. There do not seem to be any cameras around. The hide is kind of unique to the area (so far). As mentioned earlier, you should not have to remove anything but the log. That is your only hint!

Thanks for taking my little tour of the Allegheny County Belt System!
