At the given co-ordinates you will be taken to a sign post that
will give you information on this scheme. The way this system works
is that the capacity under the motorway has been substantially
reduced by inserting a smaller culvert inside. The space between
the two pipes has been filled with concrete. This work limits the
amount of water which can flow through the culvert during heavy
rainfall. Excess water will build up behind the motorway embankment
and drain away when the water eases. The action reduces peak flood
flows downstream in Tawa and Porirua, should the inlet structure
block, the auxiliary inlet provides an alternative entry into the
culvert.
To solve this puzzle it is very simple
The higher you get the closer you get
You will find some marked points that are obvious when you get
there, to work out where the final is use the following metres; in
no specific order, you will need to work out which one goes where.
The first one is the nearest one to the sign then the rest are
going closer to the final, there is no need to use the one at the
bottom of the track nor the one closest to the road.
