This geocache is located in an area called Richies Point, also known as Wilmer Bird Sanctuary, north of Wilmer, British Columbia, on the east side of Westside Road. Distance to the cache is just over one kilometre across undulating terrain. You may follow a path to make it easier.
The cache is a LnL container with various trading items. There is a First-To-Find reward of three Scratch and Win tickets. Good luck and have fun! Park at N 50° 33.430' and W 116° 04.377'. We were inspired by the location of another geocache in the area (park at the same spot). The views of the valley and the wetlands alone are sufficient to make the trip worthwhile. Bring a lunch and, after you find the cache, stay a while to enjoy the quiet, peaceful, serene beauty of the surroundings. We were lucky to spot an eagle soaring majestically through the blue sky.
