The Daughters Of The American Revolution erected an historical marker near this corner in 1930, which until a few years ago had been on the property of a golf course. Then along came development of Timber Trails, a community of high-end single family homes. The DAR was able to preserve the site, with the cooperation of the developer, who moved the monument some forty or fifty yards to the corner of the intersection.

This is meant to be a very easy find, it was placed primarily to simply draw attention to the history here. So USE THE HINT.
This can be a heavy (street) traffic area. Consider the 4-wheeled muggles as you would those on foot, and be discreet when retrieving and replacing the cache.
Do not park on Plainfield or Wolf Rd, and preferably not in the Timber Trails development, as you would have to walk right by one of the houses. Closest other parking is on 60th St or Franklin, just east of Wolf Road, and be careful crossing the streets
I had considered placing a cache here for some time. Today as I was passing by I had a cache container and logsheet ready to hide, but I had no camo tape with me. So you are looking for a 1" x 3.5" uncamoflauged Airborne container.
NOTE: Dec 19, 2009 - The original container disappeared along with the bushes that concealed it. New hiding spot, but you are still looking for an Airborne container.
NOTE: July 12, 2011 - replaced cache, now a pill bottle.
NOTE: Oct 28, 2012 - Replaced the sticky cache with an Airborne container w/ logsheet and pencil, tethered by a cord to a magnet.
