This cache is hidden in Elk Lake Park. There is a small creek very close by and you don't need to get wet or cross it, but you could fall in if you don't balance or hang onto trees well!
It was hidden by the canine and Mrs. LS on a morning dog walk in the woods - one of our favourite things!
This is the cache and contents that we won at Joe's Birthday Event. There is all sorts of sweet swag for kids of all ages!
The cache is named My Favourite Things because that's the name of a lovely song that Julie Andrews sang in The Sound of Music which is a family favourite musical for everyone except Mr. LS who can't stand watching movies where people suddenly burst into song for no apparent reason! LOL!
It's right up there with macaroni and cheese, s'mores, homemade soup, Pad Thai, beans on toast, walks in the woods/parks with the dog and with friends, bike riding, singing, piano, a cat on your lap, sailing, taking photos with no interruptions, flying kites, camping, watching the stars on a clear night away from the city light pollution and spending quiet time with loved ones!
It's ALSO one of the songs that Amy sings for auditions!
