Fried Claustrophobia Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

FRIED OKRA: I've decided to archive this cache. I don't see myself getting over to replace the container anytime soon and I also hate to disturb the bats. Especially if they happen to be an endangered species.

Thanks to all that took time to find this cache.

Geocache Description:

Located in Pomme de Terre US Army Corps of Engineers Boundry.
Placed with permission from Brad Meyers - Operations Manager.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT ATTEMPTING THIS CACHE IF YOU DO NOT POSSESS THE PROPER EQUIPMENT, EXPERIENCE AND COMMON SENSE REQUIRED TO EXECUTE IT SAFELY! ONLY YOU KNOW YOUR OWN PERSONAL ABILITIES AND LIMITATIONS AND I CANNOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS.

This cache is located inside Hole Cave in the Pomme de Terre US Army Corps of Engineers Boundry. Parking is very near by.

The posted coords will take you to the mouth of the cave. My mad cave mapping skills puts the cache at 280' from the posted coords at 18 degrees true.

I STRONGLY suggest that you bring a friend, two sources of light, a helmet, gloves and some very old clothes. You WILL get dirty going after this cache. You will be navigating through some very tight spaces that will require you to squeeze through on your belly.

The projection is an educated estimate. You will know when you are in the right place to find the cache when you are in the room where you can go no further. You will have just belly crawled through a very tight spot. You will now need to flip over and search for the cache hidden behind some rocks in a cavity in the ceiling. I would NOT leave any travel bugs or coins in this cache as there is a slight chance that it may get muggled if it is not hidden well.

This cave is heavily explored. The floor is hard packed clay, but is damp and uneven and the ceiling is uneven and very hard. Please use caution.

This cave is HEAVILY used by partiers and is littered with beer cans and bottles. Please be careful. CITO if you can. joomla statistics
