Märchenstraße(Meruhen Kaido), the official name is National Road No. 299. It is about 38km roads which link Sakuho-cho, Shimizucho to Chino-shi via the wheat grass Pass (2,127m) We can enjoy a street drive in Yatsugatake-Chushin Kogen Quasi-National Park and enjoy nature and scenery, but it is closed down in the winter season.
