Panatana Rivulet (aka Muddy Creek) Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

wilco: I think it is time to retire my very first GC hide.

I really enjoyed the ten years I spent living in the Port Sorell area, but as I now live in Hobart again I shall not be replacing this cache. Thank you to everyone who took the time to find this cache, especially those that were familiar with the previous wooden bridge that existed near to where this newer bridge was constructed.

Geocache Description:

A simple multi that involves a short walk (less than 500m) in Port Sorell, near the location of a new foot bridge across Panatana Rivulet. The old bridge was recently removed. For a couple of days both bridges stood side-by-side less than a metre apart.

WP1 is a convenient location to leave your car. There is a sign nearby. You will need to count some things on the sign to get the coordinates for WP2, which is a short walk away.

WP2 is located at: S 41 10.ABC / E 146 33.DBE, where:
A = number of letter "I"s on the sign
B = number of commas on the sign
C = number of trees on the sign
D = number of "POO"s on the sign
E = number of paw prints on the sign

At WP2 you will find another sign. Once again you will need to count a few things on the sign to get the coordinates for WP3, which is a short walk back in the direction from which you have come.

WP3 is located at: S 41 10.FGH / E 146 33.FGG, where:
F = number of activities not permitted
G = number of occurences of the letter "K"
H = greatest number of words on one line

WP3 is the location of the cache. Watch out for muggles, as they can appear very quickly!
