Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Lesbury, a pretty rural village, 3 1/2 miles southeast of Alnwick on the main coast road. Turn into the village and park a safe distance from the island junction. The traffic travels quite fast around the bend.
Lesbury is a pretty village, worth a visit. There is a good pub in the centre.
The cache is a small clip type box containing writing materials, a pencil and several small items to trade.
It can be found in the small community garden, close to 'Midwife's Bridge' island. You will know why so called when you see it.
The garden is close to the River Aln.
The garden has an oak tree commemorating 50 years of peace on the anniversary of VE Day 1995.
A lovely peaceful spot to sit for a while.
