The first time I (wooden cyclist) hid this cache it turned out to be too close to another cache. So I went in search of another spot. Looking at the map of Prairie View Park I noticed a peninsula that divides Gourdneck and Hogsett lakes. There are no trails marked, but it looked like an interesting place to hide a cache. After ducking around the underbrush and squishing through the muck I came to a spot that was impassable without hip boots. Perfect spot. Not as far out on the peninsula as I had hopped, but it does offfer a challenging walk. You are looking for a plastic ammo can. I put some nice swag in the container because you will deserve it if you make it to the cache. It (used to be) easy to spot.
