Geocache Description:

This is the first of the Jack series (and it nothing to do with Mr Bauer). Hixberry Lane is now a bridleway and is closed to vehicles. You can park at either end of Hixberry Lane which is just over a mile in length. At the Tyttenhanger end there is a traditional country pub called the Plough. At the other end is Highfield Park; a country park with plenty to see and do. We think its fairly easy to find and if you choose to use the hint then its easier still. Enjoy !

This is the first of the Jack series (and it nothing to do with Mr Bauer). Hixberry Lane in St Albans is now a bridleway and is closed to vehicles. You can park at either end of Hixberry Lane which is just over a mile in length. At the Tyttenhanger end there is a traditional country pub called the Plough. At the other end is Highfield Park; a country park with plenty to see and do.

We've enjoyed many family walks along Hixberry Lane to the Plough and then back to Highfield Park via the many footpaths.

Its a mini cache with various small items. Its the standard plastic tupperware container. I look forward to reading your logs so please do add them. If the cache is too easy to find the next will be harder to find.

To find the cache you won't have to wander fair from Hixberry Lane. In winter Hixberry Lane can get muddy so take your wellies. There's plenty of parking at the top end of Hixberry Lane (the St Albans end). Happy hunting. Captain Jack Sparrrow and his crew.

PS We think its fairly easy to find and if you choose to use the hint then its easier still. Enjoy !
