Cache is in vegetation area, not among the many rocks and well above high tide mark so can be reached at any time - one would be naturally cautious if it was stormy, from the East, of course.
Another Million Dollar View cache to get people out and viewing our beautiful coastline. Te Ngaere is a quiet sea-side suburb of holiday and retirement homes, and not a lot else - so a great place to relax and contemplate life (or a barbeque and a beer). Car park is large enough for lots of visitors, or games of cricket or football - or you can walk the beach, sit and read, or do nothing. Be sure to re-hide container carefully so as not to make it obvious to muggles, nor let it roll down the slope. Do not attempt to approach cache from the road-side due to the obvious traffic hazards. You will need to bring your own food and supplies as there are no shops in the vicinity. There is, however, a well-functioning toilet at the end of the beach (which has contributed in its own way to the cache name).
