Geocachers Exploring Oregon

October 2009 Meet and Greet
and
2010 Election of Officers

Come out and enjoy some pizza and meet with a great bunch geocachers from all parts of the Portland Metro area. Discover some TBs and coins and help plan some geocaching activities for everyone.

We will also finish up nominations and elect our GEO officers for 2010. We will accept nominations via the GEOregon.com website forums and at this event. Following any last minute nominations, we will hold elections for the officers. Please check the GEO By-laws on our website for the responsibilities of the officers.

If you are unable to attend, votes for officers will be accepted via email to GEOBoard@GEOregon.com until 5:00pm on October 9th. Remember, single memberships get one vote; family memberships allow two family members to vote.

Everyone is welcome; you don't have to be a member of GEO to come out and have a good time. And if you are able, please bring a donated item for the raffle prizes. Anyone who brings in a raffle donation gets an additional free raffle ticket. We also collect donations of SWAG to create new fully stocked caches to give away in the raffle and dead batteries for recyling.
