The cool thing about geocaching is it might take you to a place where you've never been to that turned out to be special. Or it might take you to a place you've passed by many times and never realized it was special until you stopped to look. The latter was true here, since we've walked by this spot along the Lafayette-Moraga Regional Trail many times over the years.
This is a popular trail so look out for muggles when the weather is warm. You might need a tool to extract the log once it's found, BYOP. NOTE: there's a letterbox close by – this isn't the geocache! The cache is a sign-only micro. Have fun and enjoy the rest of the trail.
