Geocache Description:


"Otome Waterfall" (meaning of "Maiden Waterfall") is at the entrance of an eminent valley and the Yokoya valley inside a prefecture.
Here is a showplace of the autumn tint of the Shinshu the greatest.

As for the Otome Waterfall, the legend of maiden's prayer has been left in a brave waterfall unlike the name.

Moreover, how also about staying because there is "Yokoya Onsen Ryokan" to be near, too?

Please face the valley from the vicinity of the "Yokoyakyo Iriguchi" bus stop.

Here is a starting point of the stroll road over Yokoya valley.
How about walking from here to cache of the upstream over the valley?

「乙女滝」は、県内でも有数な渓谷、横谷峡の入り口にあります。
ここは信州随一の紅葉の名所でもあります。

乙女滝は、名前と違って勇壮な滝で、乙女の祈りの伝説も残されています。

また近くに「横谷温泉旅館」もありますので、宿泊も如何でしょうか。
「横谷峡入口」バス停付近から渓谷に向かってください。

ここは横谷峡を巡る遊歩道の起点でもあります。
ここから渓谷をめぐって上流のキャッシュへ歩いていくのは如何でしょうか。
