Geocache Description:


To make here the sacred place of defense of the fatherland in front of World War II, "Yokoya Kannon" was constructed.

There is an observatory in the edge of the site, and it can enjoy a wonderful view such as Yokoya valley.
Please face it from the vicinity of the "Yokoya Kannon” bus stop.

Moreover, here is a starting point of the stroll road where it faces "Ohtaki Waterfall".
Otome Waterfall and the road with cache in the downstream are connected and go by all means, please.

「横谷観音」は、第二次世界大戦前にここを護国の霊場にしたいと建設されました。

敷地の端の方には展望台があり、横谷峡などの素敵な眺めが楽しめます。
「横谷観音」バス停付近から向かってください。

また、ここは王滝に向かう遊歩道の起点になっています。
下流のキャッシュがある、乙女滝とも道がつながっていますので是非行ってみてください。
