Back in 1976, you could pull in to *****'s Pepperpot (now Creighton's Pizza), order yourself a Copper Pot, Silver Pot, Gold Pot or Pepper Pot hamburger & enjoy it from the comfort of your car while listening to tunes of the day that played from the outdoor speaker system. Mrs. flinty worked there as a carhop (no, not on roller skates). Customers had to turn their headlights on when they were ready to order. The food was delivered on a tray that was hung on the driver's window.
It's great to see all the new tree growth on these barren rocks as a result of the Green Project's hard work. Also notice the interesting rock markings in the area. Enjoy the view!
