The cache is a small tab lock box in a black sack. It contains a log, pencil and a few small swaps.
Lisnagunogue, pronounced Lis-na-gun-a.
When I was a child we used to stay near here with family friends and visit the Donkey Derby which was held every year in the fields behind the wee houses on the main road. It was always great fun and wonderful memories pop into my head every time we drive through here.
This cache is placed in a picnic area on the main coastal route from Ballycastle northwards near to Dunseverick Primary School, not far from the village of Lisnagunogue. Good views of Rathlin, Fair Head and in the distance, Scotland. Plenty of picnic benches some with views over the fields to the sea. When the cache was placed the fields had just been cut and bailed and it was a great sight.
There is no need to climb the fence, the cache is accessible from the picnic area.
