I originally set this as a premium member cache to reduce the number of visitors as it's a very public place but after a couple of years I've made it available to everybody.
Ruud Gullit accidentally coined the awful term ‘sexy football’ when discussing Portugal as a TV pundit on UK television! Well it looks as though the team that plays at this ground are interested in playing “kinky football” judging by the rather erotic (& phallic) sculpture near the stadium. Or perhaps it's one of the greatest ever goal celebrations!
(Thanks to sterkegustav who found this cache in August 2013 I now know this work of art was created by Gustav Vigeland, 11 April 1869 – 12 March 1943, and is one of a series depicting his views on life and relationships!! Kinky or complex ?? I leave that for you to decide!) Or was it?!!! Kolbrun Yr emailed in August 2023 to tell me that this is wrong "This sculpture is NOT by gustav vigeland. It is by Sigurður Guðmundsson, an Icelandic visual artist" I've looked online at their works and I can't see anything like it for Sigurður so I still think Gustav Vigeland is corredct.
The wonderful work of art was one of the reasons I chose this location for a geocache. The other was that I was told by two different Icelanders that this was the home of KR Reykjavik, who were the first European opponents of my team Liverpool FC.
I thought the stadium was rather “posh” for such a small club and found out later that a much more important team plays their matches at this fine stadium.....the national Icelandic team!
(Liverpool fans are, incidentally, always welcome at KR Reykjavik’s ground, the entrance for which is off Frostaskjoli much further west.)
I toyed with the idea of making this a Multi-cache based on the number of bodies, buttocks & boobs visible on the sculpture but quickly decided that this would make it impossible to work out the final location! So instead go to the listing co-ordinates and look West or South West where you should be able to see 14 blue letters on white.
Using A=1, B=2 etc to Z=26 use these digits to find the cache, which is just a short walk away.
It is to be found at North 64o 0 a . ß c d West 021 5 e . µ p q where:-
a = 1st letter minus 7th letter
ß = 9th letter multiplied by 0.5
c = 4th letter plus 8th letter plus 12th letter
d = 9th letter halved
e = (2nd letter + 5th letter + 8th letter) - 12th letter
µ = 4th letter
p = 6th letter halved
q = 5th letter
Checksums The 4 missing North digits add up to 29 and the 4 missing West digits add up to 19!!!
When you get near to the final co-ordinates you were supposed to have a rest by sitting down on the left end of the seat nearby and cast your eyes over the sculpture and beautiful football stand but the cache is no longer under the seat.

Congratulations!!
And a big THANK YOU VERY MUCH / Þakka þér vey mikiðto to ergodragonegg for replacing the magnetic cache when it went missing and amkari for replacing the log roll.
And in 2013 thank you very much to oliagust
and Eldacar as well for replacing logs to allow the cache to continue.
In 2014 another HUGE THANK YOU is given to Die Urlauber for putting a new container in the area. Even though it is now not magnetic it still keeps this going. Sincere thanks!
What wonderful people our geocaching community contains!! Alas Die Urlauber's container by the trash can went missing quite soon (as I had feared it might) but Sandra and Thorsten from Germany have now re-instated the cache as it was originally set and it is once again a magnetic micro And another "thank you" to ivans for putting in some dry log paper in May 2015. Most recent of all my grateful thanks to NiMa&theBlackDog who were really inventive when they found it had gone and made a new magnetic box themselves!! Also Team 2006 who replaced the box in September 2015 when it had gone missing yet again! "White Knights of Geocaching" one and all.
And a special REALLY GRATEFUL thank you to Del & Mary (M&D) who, in spite of not having long in the capital, found time to get a replacement container and find a safer hide for it than it's probably had for some time. What heroes!! The geocaching world would indeed be poorer if there were not kind souls like you out there keeping our game pieces going in far-flung corners of the world! Thanks from a grateful Englishman, whose just visited your neck of the woods in the States - the beautiful and amazing copper state!
And I'm also grateful to Candleford for putting in a fresh log sheet in March 2019 and annalotta33 for doing this again in July 2019
Most recently (Feb 2020) my thanks are due to Bes2 for replacing the old rusting / broken cache container with a new micro.
Alas this too went missing and I'm grateful to xDarPath for putting a new tube cache, log and pen in a slightly different spot in June 2021 to keep this cache going and then in June 2023 SteffenUgau found it was missing and kindly replaced it without me even having to ask.
The latest cachers who I am very grateful to are Peter & Charlotte of virids who spotted it seemed to have gone awol again and offered to take a replacement container out to Iceland with them. They put this in place in March 2026 and sent me some clear details about it's placement and a many photos.
MANY, MANY THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP & GENEROSITY
