Welcome to the East Hampton Public Library.
Do you remember the first library card you got? Do you have fond memories of the rows and stacks of books and trying to choose just one or two to bring home? Sitting on a blanket at the beach or under a tree on the grass reading that perfect novel? If you do, great! Keep reading! If not, re-acquaint yourself, you may just be surprised! The town library is a great place to pick up that light novel, research a project, read the local paper or a magazine, pick up an audio-book or music CD to listen to on the way to work, grab the latest movie or log your “finds” on the public computer. What is even better is it’s free! So come and visit the local library of your choice… and in the words of my mother and father, “Keep reading, you just might learn something.” They were right. Container is a medium-sized Lock & Stock filled with assorted goodies. As always, please be respectful of the patrons and property… and watch out for muggles.
