Geocache Description:

A small picnic spot with great views close to the turn off to other places

Where a memorial has been placed to commentate the great work of Harold Leov’s, who chaired the committee on the construction of the Croisilles-French Pass Road. Completed August 3 in 1957, it was surveyed and funded by the Government but constructed essentially by the local families, including Harold Leov and his sons Dave and Charlie. Dave’s widow Joyce, still lives in Cambridge.
