As of publication, Kings Highway is closed south of the golf course
parking lot. To access this cache, we recommend taking Lake Shore
Blvd to Kings Highway. Closest parking is the golf course parking
lot. We've been waiting for our new adoption for a long time. Since
most of our "finds" are from the local shelter, we've never had to
wait before. What to do while we are waiting... what to do? You
guessed it! Hide a cache in his honor!
Our rescued/adopted greyhound arrives on December 4. His race name
is War Glory, but we are told he doesn't know it. (If the dogs knew
their names and answered to them, they would be easily distracted
by the crowds shouting their names.) We know his age (4 yrs) his
weight (74 lbs) and his track record (just 4 races: 2 wins, a 2nd
place, and a finish). We have a picture, which we are using as a
background for this cache (see gallary). He's supposed to be good
with small animals and small children. Everything else we learn
about him comes later. Celebrate our "find" with one of your own.
