Hochfels

Der Hochfels bei Stadlern bildet eine markant
aus der Umgebung herausragende Felsrippe aus
„"Cordierit-Sillimanit-Gneis“". Zahlreiche Blöcke -
Zeugen der Verwitterungs- und Abtragungsvorgänge während des
Pleistozäns - umgeben die Felsen. Einzelblöcke und regelrechte
Blockfelder prägen zusammen mit der Heidevegetation diese reizvolle
Landschaft.
Während sich die meisten Gneiskuppen der Umgebung im Wald befinden,
bietet der Hochfels durch seine freie Lage und die umgebenden
Blockheiden ein besonderes Landschaftserlebnis.
Logaufgaben:
- Frage 1: Zu welchem Bereich gehört der Oberpfälzer Wald?
- Frage 2: Wann wurden die Gipfel durch Erosion von den
Verwitterungsdecken befreit?
- Aufgabe 1: Addiere die Entfernungen von den weißen Schildern
rechts neben der Informationstafel.
- Aufgabe 2: Messe bei der Bank die beiden Längen (rote und blaue
Linie) und addiere diese. (Die beiden Längen zuerst auf volle 10cm
auf- oder abrunden.)

The "Hochfels" near Stadlern is a strinking
prominent stone fin consisting of "cordierite-sillimanite-gneiss".
Numerous blocks - vouchers of the alteration and degradation
process during the pleistocene - are surrounding the rocks. Single
blocks and positively block fields give together with the moorland
vegetation distinction to this delightful landscape.
While most of the gneiss sumits of the sourrounding area are
located in the forest, the Hochfels presents a notably landscape
adventure because of its loose location and the ambient block
moorlands.
Log Tasks:
- Question 1: To which area belongs the Upper Palatinate
Forest?
- Question 2: When was the climax freed from the alteration cover
by abrasion?
- Task 1: Add together the distances of the white signs next to
the information board on the right.
- Task 2: Measure the two lengths at the settee (red and blue
line) and add them together. (First round them up or down to full
10 cm.)
