Geocache Description:

This is a salt water cache. Please tighten the cap as tight as possible to keep water out.
The property dates back into the 1940's and is what you would expect to find in a quaint fishing village. Matlacha's history is colorful like the fish house and has been known for the freshest grouper brought in by a "Bandit Rig". This fishing boat is out to sea for only a couple days. The Matlacha Pass Bridge is the world's most "fishiness" bridge. You'll never know what you'll catch here or who will be standing next to you. People from all over the world come here to cast their line into this fast moving pass.
