Geocache Description:


This trail will take you up Mt Thom from the Promontory side. There are surprisingly many sets of stairs along the trail to the cache. Most sets go up and a couple go down. Once you come to the bench you are almost there.The cache sits about 3/4 of the way up Mount Thom. From Promontory the hike is probably a 1 1/2 hours roundtrip. You can access this cache from the Mount Thom side as well which is about an hour hike round trip Don't forget to do the Amazing Valley View cache on your way up
