Geocache Description:

The cache is located in Point Beach State Forest on one of our favorite bike trails, the Rawley Point Trail. The trail consists of numerous small hills and curves as it winds through the forest. A series of small bridges and boardwalks will take you through the dunes and bogs. Along the trail the above coordinates will take you to a restored log cabin built in the early 1900's. The cabin is not open to the public and can only be viewed from the outside. There is a marker with information about the cabin. Use the year the cabin was built to determine the final coordinates.

The third digit in the year = A
The fourth digit in the year = B

The final coordinates are N44 11.689 W087 31.ABB

A Trail Pass is not required to hike or bike the trail, but the State Forest is a fee area and an annual sticker or daily admission pass is required.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Guy Willman of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link)
