The Skakavitsa Waterfall (Bulgarian: Skakavishki vodopad) is the highest waterfall in the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. The waterfall is situated on 1 750 m above sea level, the water falling down from 70 m.
The cache is in a small (approximately 1 liter) square plastic box. Initial contents include a logbook, pen, sharpener and a separate plastic bag with some trade items.
Skakavitsa waterfall is a place worth seeing and if you love mountains you can plan a trip around or stay overnight in nearest Skakavitsa hut - the first mountain hut built in Bulgaria in 1921-1922.
