Cache number three of a small one and a half mile circular walk by Madgcombe Coppice near Ilmington and Ebrington.There are three caches in all with easy walking and if all the caches are found relatively quickly then it should take less than an hour for all three.There is parking for one or two cars at the co-ords below. Please keep the gateway clear.
The final cache on this small walk is a small screwtop container with room for small tb's and coins,and you will need a pen or pencil.It is placed right near a group of Laurel shrubs hence the name.Hopefully the co-ords are close but tree cover may have affected the gps reading.
The saying to 'rest on one's laurels' comes from Greek times when laurel wreaths were given to winners at sporting events.To rest on them is ill advised as it is said to be living off reputation and achievements past rather than continuing effort and achievement.
Hopefully us cachers never rest on our laurels!
