Geocache Description:

Simple cache on a nice trail in Lakewood. Regular size Lock-N-Lock.

Bellows Park and Collins Ave. are named after the founders of COBE. COBE changed it's name to Gambro BCT, and now it's CaridianBCT. COBE was founded in 1964 by Robert Collins and Randall Bellows, COBE's name was derived from the first two letters of the founders' last names.
This cache has some blood collection related stuff in it to start. Note the Leukoreduction Chamber on the logbook. I've got several of these as travelbugs with a mission to return here.

This trail through Bellows Park has several science themed art pieces. Park on the street, or at the southern end of CaridianBCT's parking lot. There is an park entrance there. Enjoy the waterfall under the bridge and the nice marsh wildlife.
