This cache is placed in the old Ironton cemetery that borders US 52.
Ironton has a long history in this region. It was formed in 1849 by John Campbell. At one time, Ironton was one of the foremost leading Iron cities in the world. Ironton is also known for being a part of the underground railroad.
In this cemetery, you will find several interesting monuments. One of the obilisks measures at least 18 feet tall. Try to find the eagle statue at the bottom of the monument.
One half of the cemetery is very well taken care of by the Ironton Municipal Community Service Program. The other half is back a little bit farther into the woods. This is where you will find the cache. These old souls need visitors too. Please feel free to practice some CITO if needed.
The container is a medium sized camo lock and lock box. There are several trinkets for trading and a log. Accuracy was down to 60 feet because of the canopy. Happy caching.
Did some research... there used to be a cache here called Boneyard Cache GCGTFR... I didn'thave a chance to find it because I had just started the game. Hopefully this cache will be able to survive.
