From 1860 to 1885 this 200 mile long trail was the main road between Benton, Montana (at the head of the Missouri River) and Fort Whoop Up. Trains of 8 - 10 bull teams were common and they took as much as two weeks to make the trek.
Bring your own writing stick - You may need tweezers - Might be water in the ditch.
