Texa was the 5th of 7 children born into a very religious family
- her father was a Methodist Minister. All the daughters had to
learn to play piano, but they could only play hymns and religious
music. Texa turned out to be a talented musician, and ended up
playing for the church services.
Texa married Harvey and had a baby, Morris, my dad.
Unfortunately she died in a car crash when Morris was just a
baby.
