Please use the parking/Trailhead coord’s below for access – do not use the local business parking area behind the cache. You can use the trail just into the woods – a very pleasant walk back into this area. A nice sized PB jar awaits you at GZ.
This is in the lower part of Whitetail Ridge. If you look up the hill from the cache you’ll spot one of the nice bike trail improvements the KORC group has made. Some fine engineering on this hairpin turn – looks like it would be fun on a sled in the winter too! But – flying off the edge might prove to be painful. Enjoy the walk.

About Whitetail Ridge Whitetail Ridge has 160 acres of open space (much of it wooded, with a couple of nice prairie areas and some nice hills). Located between the River Falls industrial park and Kilkarney Hills golf club, it offers up some nice hiking trails and off-road cycling trails. Home of the Kinnickinnic Off-Road Cyclists (KORC: see http://www.kinnioffroad.com), this group has done a fantastic job of improving the riding trails for all off-road enthusiasts. Check out their website for trail maps and club information. Thursday evenings are race night during the summer months. Good parking and trailhead near the corner of Whitetail and Prairie Drive. Please take care while walking the trails and enjoy the scenery!
