Nearby you will see a structure that was used in the early days to help get water to the Wallaroo area.... Being situated halfway between Kadina and Wallaroo on the top of the hill they would pump water to this tank and then run it down into Wallaroo...
It is now often referred to as Tank Hill but is still a visual landmark and referred to as being halfway between Wallaroo and Kadina.
This is an easy drive-by on a busy road so please make sure the young ones don't wander...
