Miradores de La Paz
El cache vas a encontrar a este coordenada:
S 16° 28.91X W 068° 06.

altura: 4144 m
Este cache es la ruta a los mejores miradores en La Paz,
especialmete al final tu vas a tener maravillosos paisajes sobre la
ciudad y ademas tu vas a ver todos las montañas de 6000m al
rededor. Entonces es una buena recomendacion para personas que no
conocen La Paz y tambien para los Paceños.
Es recomendable usar el minibus para llegar a los diferentes
destinos, es más barato y además es divertido.
En los miradores tu tienes que solucionar preguntas para tener las
coordenadas del cache. En total hay tres preguntas. Tres números de
coordenada del cache faltan.
Cuando soluciones una pregunta puedes insertar la solucion en la
coordenada del cache.
Solamente al final tu tienes que caminar 45 minutos (1:30 h ida y
vuelta) para alcanzar el cache. Esta caminata es un poquito
peligrosa y resbalosa, por eso debes usar un buen zapato para
caminar. La última ruta no es recomendable para niños.
Yo no conozco otro lugar en La Paz donde tu tienes esta increible
vista!
Para solucionar las preguntas, tomar los minibuses, disfrutar los
paisajes y encontrar el cache tu necesitas 4-5 horas.

Mirador Monticulo (Zona Sopocachi)
S 16° 30.829’ W 068° 07.638 altura: 3605 m
Tienes que comenzar en el Mirador Monticulo (Zona Sopocachi), cerca
la Plaza España. Este lugar esta a 10 minutos del centro. Allá hay
una iglesia donde muchas personas de La Paz se casan. Aqui tu
puedes encontrar un otro cache (La Paz uno!) de Chaski4.
A este lugar (vease coordenada Mirador Monticulo) tu vas a ver un
cuadro de Ludwig van Beethoven.

Mirador Autopista (cerca la tranca / peaje)
S 16° 29.891’ W 068° 09.783 altura: 4097 m
Desde el Monticulo necesitas ir con minibus cerca 1 hora hasta el
Mirador Autopista. Toma un minibus a Prado / Perez. Desde Prado /
Perez, toma un minibus hasta Autopista / Ceja. 150 m antes de la
tranca (peaje), tienes que bajar. Al lado de la autopista hay un
mirador (vease coordenada Autopista).
Hay una escultura. Mira la escultura de frente. Abajo de una mano
hay un grande ojo. Abajo de este ojo tu vas a ver hojas de un
arbol.

Mirador Killi-Killi (Zona Villa Pabon)

Ahora tienes que regresar. Entonces toma un minibus hasta Peréz /
Prado. Desde este lugar toma un bus a Plaza Murillio. Desde Plaza
Murillio hay buses a la Zona Villa Pabon. En esta Zona hay un
Mirador con el nombre: Killi-Killi (vease coordenada).
Aqui tu vas a ver una puerta o un arco. Sobre el arco hay una luna.

Minibus hasta Pampahasi
S 16° 29.679’ W 068° 06.032 altura: 3886 m
Tu solucionaste ahora todas las preguntas y tienes la coordenada
del cache.
Para ir haya toma un minibus al estadium (Hernando Siles). Toma un
minibus desde el estadium hasta Pampahasi. Salir en la parada
final: S 16° 29.679’ W 068° 06.032 altura: 3886m. Algunos minibuses
siguen, pero salir a este coordenada.
Ahora tu tienes que caminar por 45 minutos hasta el cache. Hay un
desnivel de 250 m, eso significa que tienes que caminar solamente
subiendo. Caminar en dirección de una gran antena (no las antenas
parabólicas). Pasar por esta antena y seguir la cumbre.
Jipiiiii, alcanzaste el espectacular lugar. Encuentra el cache y
disfruta el paisaje.
Viewpoints of La Paz
You will find the cache at the following coordinate:

This cache will show you the best viewpoints of La Paz, specially
at the final you will have wonderful views over the city, also you
will see all the spectacular 6000m mountains nearby. This cache is
a recommendation for persons how didn’t know La Paz an also for
Paceños.
I would recommend to take minibuses to reach the different places,
it’s cheep an it is a lot of fun to go by minibus.
At the viewpoints you have to answer questions. Altogether there
are three questions and the answer for each question is a number.
In the final coordinate there are missing three numbers and this
numbers you have to find out.
Only at the final you have to walk 45 minutes (to go here and back:
1:30 ).
This final hike is a little bit dangerous and slippery, therefore
you have to wear hikingboots. I would not recommend this final hike
for children.
At the final you will have a breathtaking view. I don’t know a
better viewpoint to see all areas of La Paz.
To answer the questions, to go by minibus to the different places,
to take a rest and enjoy the views and to get to the final you need
approximately 4-5 h.

Mirador Monticulo (Zona Sopocachi)

The starting point is at the viewpoint Monticulo (Zona Sopocachi),
this point is close to Plaza España, every taxidriver know this
place and it is 10 minutes far away from the city centre. At the
Monticulo there is a church where many Paceños have there wedding.
You can also find here another cache: “La Paz uno!” from chaski4.
At the viewpoint Monticulo (see coordinate Mirador Monticulo) you
will find a sculpture (a picture) of Ludwig van Beethoven.

Mirador Autopista (close to the tollbooth)

From the viwepoint Monticulo you need 1 h by minibus to the
viewpoint Autopista. Take a minibus to Prado / Perez and from there
a minibus to Autopista / Ceja. 150 m before the tollbooth you have
to hop out. Very near at the Autopista you will find the viewpoint
Autopista (see coordinate Mirador Autopista).
There you will see a sculpture. Inspect the sculpture from the
front. Below a hand you will see a great eye. Below this eye there
are leafs from a tree.

Mirador Killi-Killi (Zona Villa Pabon)

Now you have to return. Take a minibus at the Autopista to Peréz /
Prado. From there you can take a minibus to Plaza Murillio. From
Plaza Murillio there are buses to the Zone Villa Pabon. In this
area there is a viewpoint called: Mirador Killi-Killi (see
coordinate Mirador Killi-Killi).
There you can see a gate or a portal. Above the gate you will see a
moon.

Minibus to Pampahasi
S 16° 29.679’ W 068° 06.032 altitude: 3886 m
You have answered now all the questions and you have the
coordinates of the cache. To go there you have to take a minibus to
the stadium (Hernando Siles). From there take a minibus to
Pampahasi. Hop out at the final stop: S 16° 29.679’ W 068° 06.032
altitude: 3886m. Some minibuses are driving further, but you have
to start your walk at the written coordinate.
Now you have to walk 45 minutes to the cache and hike an altitude
difference about 250m . You have to go uphill towards a high
antenna (not the parabolic antennas). After the antenna you have to
hike over the sharp ridge to the top of the mountain.
Jipiiii, you reached this spectacular place. Find the cache and
enjoy the view.
