Geocache Description:

~~~~~No Cache at the Given Coordinates!!!~~~~~
The long explanation of why The Andy Griffith Show (TAGS) is my favorite TV show is located at the cache TAGS #1: Barney Fife.
For this series, you are going to have “share my love” if only for a short while in the form of answering some TAGS trivia. The caches themselves are not that hard to find…in fact, they are pretty easy once you have the right coordinates. You could Google the answers, if you want to, but you won’t get much in the way of hints from me.
Oh and one other thing, you’ll probably want to check out the website The Andy Griffith Show Rerun Watchers Club which is the only online fan club of TAGS that I know of. It’s a pretty interesting site as long as you are interested in all things Mayberry…or if you want the answers to most of the questions for this series. ?
There are so many things to say about Barney that I will have to call them Barneyisms. Barney never could quite pronounce new words real well. For example, when he wanted to call something therapeutic, he called it therapetic. He also mispronounced other words, but I won’t get bogged down in “trivial trivalities.” Barney also frequently employed the phrase “nip it in the bud.” He was also just inattentive enough to lock himself (and many times, Andy) into the jail cell without the key. Barney fancied himself knowledgeable about most anything…child rearing, ink blot tests, rehabilitation of criminals (don’t give them the metal crafts set though!), women…you name it, he knows something about it.
Barney would go to great lengths to catch all criminals…large or small made no difference to him. He wanted to “throw a ring around” the sleepy little hamlet of Mayberry to catch a criminal. He set up “checkpoint chickie” (checkpoint charlie) where he frisked friends, the mayor and even his own mother. You could argue Barney’s competence, but you could never argue his passion!
No diamonds this time…magnetic.
A = The speed limit on Turner’s Grade (the one allowed, not the posted speed limit) + 8
B = The first number of the license plate of the squad car
C = The number of episodes Warren Furgeson appeared in - 9
A + B + C = 53
N B6° A.C4C
W 9B° 1B.5CC
NOTE: The license plate # I am looking for is not the one in the first three episodes. In other words, it is not DC-269. That should narrow it down because there is only one other possibility.
