It is that time of year and I thought I would set a cache in honor of my early bowling days, and give notice to a seldom heard term.
Three strikes bowled consecutively are known as a "turkey" or "triple". The origin of this dates back to before the turn of the 20th century. During Thanksgiving or Christmas week, the proprietor would present a live turkey to people who scored three consecutive strikes.
Though there are no live prizes I have left several surprises for those lucky cachers.
