Geocache Description:

A hike to the shore of Wincester Lake where you will be 600ft or more above sea level.

The cache container is a 50 cal ammo can. It is jamed full of swag and has a log, pencil & pen.
There is an item marked FTF for the first to find!

The parking area and trail in are on private property but permission has been given by Bill Jewels, the land owner, to hide this cache.

Please park at the given coords and not up near the camp.

I have given the 4 diff. rating because of the steep hill which I call the Bill Hill!!! Bill is having a very tough battle with cancer and is on indefinite chemo therapy. This little set back didn't slow Bill down too much. A few rest stops and we were on top!!!

You will encounter a small boggy area before you start your ascent. We wore rubber boots but it may be possible to sneak through it.

This will be a very scenic hike when the leaves come off the trees!!!

Bill Jewels had dreams of retiring to this beautiful spot but cancer has stolen them from him but he would like others to enjoy the hike and views.

My friend passed away 2 weeks after we hid this cache!

RIP Bill
