BRIEF HISTORY
Back in the early 70’s this paddock was used to grow potatoes, one of the main industries of Dorrigo. Above the pond you will find a spring, that was used as the water supply for the Heritage Hotel Motel (Top Pub to locals).
Along Waterfall Way near the road you will find a Memorial dedicated to Dan Seymour, a Trail Blazer who pioneered the National Horse Trail with R. M. Williams.
Near the table you will find a Memorial to Bernadette Donaldson, the mother of Dorrigo’s own and Australia’s hero, Mark Donaldson VC.
You will also find a statue dedicated to the Pioneers of the plateau.
